The twins turned 4 months on January 17th, mom is a little behind with the blog! When we visited the doctor on January 25, John weighed 15.12 pounds and was 2 ft. and 2.25 inches long. No surprise he was in the 90th percentile in height and the 50th percentile for weight.

I had to tickle John to get a little smile from him! |
Miss Anna weighed 14 pounds and measured 2 ft and 0.5 inches in length. She was in the 50th percentile across the board with weight and length. She feels like a feather when you lift her up compared to her solid little brother :)

Loving the lip! |
One big milestone the twins had this month was starting solid food. This new adventure began with rice cereal and progressed to oatmeal. Neither one of them enjoyed this first experience with food. They ended up pushing most of it out with their tongues, but we kept trying. After a few tries, John embraced this new way of eating (surprise, surprise)! Little miss princess clamps her mouth shut and still cries everytime the spoon comes her way. Usually, John ends up finishing her share of the food. I just bought some carrots, so that will be the next food they try!
This month we also finally made our Christmas hand-print ornaments that Aunt Jenny bought for the twins. It may have been a month late, but better late than never, right? I can't wait to look at the difference of their handprints when we decorate our tree next Christmas.
