Happy birthday Nana!

We were lucky that our triple baptism weekend coincided with Nana's birthday. Jenny had us all over to her house and Pop ordered delicious food from Bravo.  We actually all sat down at the table and enjoyed dinner, while all the babies were on their best behavior:) It was a busy weekend, but a fun one too!

Amelia really loves the twins!

So many onesies, so little time...

Anna and John have gotten so many adorable onesies as gifts since they were born. They all happen to be the same size (3-6 months), so we had to do a photo shoot this month before the babies grew out of them.  Thank you so much to all of our generous friends!!!

Thanks Brooke!

Thanks Kris!

Thanks Jeanne!

Thanks Mary!
Thanks Liz and Brooke!

Daddy and Anna

John always said if he ever had a daughter, she would melt his heart. I think it's safe to say that his heart has officially turned to mush.

Kisses and cuddles

Anna loves playing "super baby" with daddy!

Our first Valentine's Day as a family

I think this picture says it all!  We had a very special Valentine's Day lunch with daddy at a fancy restaurant next to his office called Palomino's. Anna wore a pretty cordoroy dress and John dressed up in his red and white checkered button down shirt, which was actually a onesie!  John entertained us throughout the lunch with his giggles, while Anna decided to sleep the whole time! We also took the babies to meet John's coworkers for the first time. Anna and John were so shy and quiet, pretty unusual for the two of them. We had a wonderful afternoon visiting daddy at work. It made their first Valentine's Day extra special.

So sleepy

Valentine's Day P.J.'s (John's say, "Mommy's Little Heartbreaker")

Onesies and bibs from Nana and Pop. Anna's says, "Nana's special Valentine" and John's says, "Spread the Love"

4 Months

The twins turned 4 months on January 17th, mom is a little behind with the blog! When we visited the doctor on January 25, John weighed 15.12 pounds and was 2 ft. and 2.25 inches long.  No surprise he was in the 90th percentile in height and the 50th percentile for weight.

I had to tickle John to get a little smile from him!

Miss Anna weighed 14 pounds and measured 2 ft and 0.5 inches in length.  She was in the 50th percentile across the board with weight and length.  She feels like a feather when you lift her up compared to her solid little brother :)

Loving the lip!
One big milestone the twins had this month was starting solid food. This new adventure began with rice cereal and progressed to oatmeal.  Neither one of them enjoyed this first experience with food. They ended up pushing most of it out with their tongues, but we kept trying. After a few tries, John embraced this new way of eating (surprise, surprise)! Little miss princess clamps her mouth shut and still cries everytime the spoon comes her way. Usually, John ends up finishing her share of the food.  I just bought some carrots, so that will be the next food they try!

This month we also finally made our Christmas hand-print ornaments that Aunt Jenny bought for the twins. It may have been a month late, but better late than never, right? I can't wait to look at the difference of their handprints when we decorate our tree next Christmas.
